Re: How do you haud yer wheesht?

Sel But one lady has left me speechless on several occasions. Last week she announced that she could hear her plants "scream" for a drink when thirsty. She can tell, before she goes into the room, just which plant is calling her. We have an 'Heir to the throne' who speaks to his plants, beat that! ...

I know it's difficult to abstain but really folks, why do you continue to give this PRICK the publicity that he obviously craves?
Don't you get tired of his loooooooong cut and paste diatribes that I'm (fairly) sure nobody reads.
he's been 'toadied' Please treat him as such.

Their idiocy knows no bounds, this might have been posted before but it's worth another look (and it wasn't only reported in the daily fail) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... light.html

Re: Poultry Keeping

Hens, ducks, turkey poop = top rate manure (once it's rotted down)
I've considered getting a few hens on more than one occasion but I don't really have enough uncultivated garden for them now.
Neighbour has around 30 so we are well supplied with both eggs and chicken shit.

Gnostic Bishop.
moral religionists,
Oxymoron much :D

I surely don't need to point out the misogyny, the hatred of LGBT folk, and the sectarianism that infect all the major 'faiths'

'Religionists' as you call them, wouldn't recognise moral behaviour if it bit them on the arse. :laughter:

Re: Magic Underwear Explained

I had two of them (Mormons) at the door on Thursday, WTF? I know just how remotely you live... They've been here a while Fia, on their obligatory two year 'witnessing' mission. There was a story in the Shetland Times when they arrived but I can't find it in the archives, maybe it was deemed...

This is a comment I made on the Shetland news website a few days ago. I wonder how this new carrier bag law/charge (which I'm in favour of) will affect the Tesco online shoppers after next Monday http://www.shetnews.co.uk/letters/9499-guidance-for-retailers The 'personal shoppers' that I've observed...

Re: Magic Underwear Explained

I had two of them (Mormons) at the door on Thursday, resplendent in their black trousers and white shirts (they were clearly freezing) but tried not to show it. I told them, I don't talk to cultists and they insisted they weren't a cult, I handed them each one of my dictionary print-outs and asked t...

Gnostic Bishop Christianity is based on substitutionary [sic] atonement. Is it a moral religion? Easy short answer, no it's not. The rest of your post assumes there is a 'god' Myself and most others on this forum don't accept the 'god' concept, had you not figured that out yet? At the end of days, ...

Iffy :D Why are we constantly hearing about an issue that effects less than 2% of the world's population?!!! I cook most of the dogs food other than biscuits, from produce from the garden, they are about 70% vegetarian but still fit as a butchers dog

That's an interesting thought, Alan. Is there a correlation between summer/winter weather like that?
