Re: How the Bible supports slavery
I would love to go back in time and prevent all suffering, injustice, and deaths and make all living things forever happy but I can't. There is an infinite gap between what I want to do and what I can do. I prefer the duality we live in. Without evil, would you know what good is? I do not think so....

Re: How the Bible supports slavery
While human slavery is now illegal, non-human slavery is still legal. Billions of sentient organisms are caged, exploited and killed every year by humans. If all humans went vegan, it would put an end to the non-human slavery practised by humans. I would advise all slaves to unify and revolt collec...

Are homosexual natures created by nurture, nature, or God?
Are homosexual natures created by nurture, nature, or God?
I think the answer is is quite important as it would show us the cause/source of homosexuality.
If God, as believers think, then why is God creating gays?
Regards
DL

Does your ideology include a clause that says you should raise hell against evil religions? Seems like a decent overall ideology. Are our Governments and Drug Cartels the same entities?
Other than Governments, who has the power to run the world’s drugs cartels, and have it’s kingpins to never get caught?
I can think of no one capable of such a feat, other than our own governments.
You?

Re: Can faith survive an evolutionary account of humanity and religion? – Andrew Halestrap and Sam Devis
Yes it can because faith is not fact based. Religions are just tribes and tribes survive even as most do not live the theology they say they follow. The religious are the most insecure of us and they are in their religions for fellowship and not facts. The nice part is that 95% of those that claim t...

Re: How To Get To Heaven When You Die
I have a mental exercise for thinkers. It shows where both heaven and hell are. Let me speak to the lie of Gnostic Christians hating matter. I wrote this to refute the false notion that Gnostic Christians do not like matter and reality that the inquisitors propagated to justify their many murders of...

Re: How To Get To Heaven When You Die
Scriptures say that god does not will that any of us be lost. Only those believers with little faith will not think the same way, as anything else would make god a loser. Christians tend not to see Yahweh as a universalist, but Gnostic Christians like me have tied universalism to god's own righteous...

Re: Looking for answers to my questions
37. Different countries have different laws. How do I know which laws are ethical and which are unethical? 38. How do I know what is morally right and what is morally wrong? What standard of morality do you begin with? Most begin with some kind of reciprocity rule for the personal, and a good for t...

Re: Is it moral for our governments to impose poverty on us?
That is quite the wish list. Good luck with it. You seem to blame the rich for much of our ecological woes, and while they own their share, it is the vast majority and our eating habits that are killing the environment tihat sustains us and all other life. If you can, watch the documentary made for...

Re: Is it moral for our governments to impose poverty on us?
I do not believe in equal outcome while I champion equal opportunity. We are a hierarchical species and if we did not seek to be fittest, we would likely go extinct. At this point in our collective history, if we had equal outcomes as you want, then the standards of excellence that only the rich can...

Is it moral for our governments to impose poverty on us?
Is it moral for our governments to impose poverty on us? Taxation determines what poverty levels will exist within it’s demographic form. It controls the graph shown below. Governments control taxation and thus control poverty levels directly. Imagine if you will, the real truth of that taxation, if...

Re: How and why can people ignore their God’s immoral ways?
Yes, I have a sense of self. Yes, I make choices but my choices are not free from constraints. My choices are inevitable choices which are determined by variables. I am not free. I am a prisoner of causality. I am not trying to convince you of anything. I am merely sharing my thoughts about the nat...

Re: How and why can people ignore their God’s immoral ways?
I found the book to be very revealing about our sense of self. I used to think that I am an immortal soul - a permanent entity with a free will and that other humans and other sentient organisms are also the same. In reality, we are all impermanent processes lacking free will. We are faulty mechani...
