I'm sure there are some smart phone malware out there, but not sure the extent of the problem. Android phones are probably the most susceptible.

There are three fundamental questions for anyone advocating Brexit:

1. What, precisely, are the significant and tangible benefits of leaving the EU?
2. What damage to the UK and its citizens is an acceptable price to pay for those benefits?
3. Which ruling of the ECJ is most persuasive of the need to leave its jurisdiction?

This was posted today: Whoa! Nearly 5,000 new Android malware samples discovered each day in Q1 2015

It could be well worth browsing Graham's site to find out more.

Athena and I have iPhones, so never had to look, but Kaspersky have: Internet Security for Android for £9.99, so they do exist.

I would strongly suggest getting something from the well-known names (Norton, Kaspersky, McAfee, etc) and not just from anyone - check a few computer/smartphone magazines for reviews and see whether or not they say having anything is actually worthwhile. Also probably better to go for a paid product rather than a free one, but make sure you keep it up to date.

I use the free AVG Antivirus on my Android phone. I'm also pretty careful about what I click on :-).
