2019 was a dreadful year, but I fear it will simply be worse this year - and possibly this decade. It's difficult not to be pessimistic. What would top it off would be if that idiot Trump was re-elected this November. You'll find me wandering along Oxford Street with 'The end is nigh' on sandwich boards...

I agree, Alan, another term of Trump would have dire consequences. Regardless, he'll have an extra day to rule as this year is leap year.
