Professor wants faith-based Christian universities for Scotland

#1 Post by Alan H » May 29th, 2016, 1:51 pm

There are three fundamental questions for anyone advocating Brexit:

1. What, precisely, are the significant and tangible benefits of leaving the EU?
2. What damage to the UK and its citizens is an acceptable price to pay for those benefits?
3. Which ruling of the ECJ is most persuasive of the need to leave its jurisdiction?

What a very frightening idea!

I would be against following almost any aspect of the "American Way of Education" but this is a terrible thing to copy. I think it has implications for the infiltration of religion into many more aspects of givernment and social "services". There are certain posts in America that non-Cristians might find it impossible to obtain - because the religious structure has its fingers in every every plate of the political pie.

The more "qualified" religionistas the more "ammunition" there is for creep to that state here.

That's above what is already happening here . . .

Two words should be enough to strike fear into anyone concerned with educatuion: Trump University

Yes, Trump University Was a Massive Scam
Trump University is currently the defendant in three lawsuits — two class-action lawsuits filed in California, and one filed in New York by then-attorney general Eric Schneiderman, who told CNN’s New Day in 2013: “We started looking at Trump University and discovered that it was a classic bait-and-switch scheme. It was a scam, starting with the fact that it was not a university.”

This certainly got Prof Fraser and his bigoted little church some publicity. They say there's no such thing as bad publicity.
Carpe diem. Savour every moment.
