To start the new year, it's time to have another round of Cheddar Gorge. However, can I propose a variation in the TH rules? My suggestion is that it should be in the form of a letter. There is no compulsion not to finish a sentence, as a new sentence can easily be started. Likewise, it should find it's own conclusion. Posting one word at a time remains, of course. Once that is achieved, I would hope that a reason for a reply has been established, so that a letter of response may result. So, the first thing to decide is the author of the letter, then next, the recipient, and finally the subject.

Can we have a nomination for our first letter writer?
