Giles Fraser (ex St Paul's guy), in disagreeing that xians should all wear a cross says that an empty tomb would be a better symbol - but not easy to portray as an item of jewellery.

Since JC was resurrected from a cave in a place called Golgotha and Golgotha means "skull" perhaps they should wear a skull?

Forget the jewelry; that's vain. I think they should have a choice. Either literally carry a cross at all times (does make it difficult to Blackberry though) or self-flagellate. Other wise it's not close enough to what JC would do

Marian, i think you spotted a good business idea... imagine selling crosses... different sizes, colours, styles... folding ones...leisure type, everyday type... the possiblities are endless.

Think I'll set up a table at the local flea market. If it's a hit, I'll move south of the border to the bible belt.

Dogs have evolved neck and face muscles that increase their chance of being fed whenever they do 'expressions' that make gullible people go 'Aaaahhh!'. So they select for gullible owners.
Just a theory!

Heard about an old lady who had an old handbag she used for her dog poo. She had her bag snatched by a disappointed thief.
