Should it not be a 'trough day' for bankers Fia?

Once I had a brain,
It was fairly bright,
Then I made a gain
In years, no delight.

Things began to drain,
And, just like my sight,
It became a strain,
To see the past right!
"Look forward; yesterday was a lesson, if you did not learn from it you wasted it."

Today is Thursday and, for us, it is green bin day. Our bin is already out there because I put it out last night, as usual. Thought you would like to know that.

How long will it take before someone changes this number to fit with the number of solstices since the Romans left Rome?

Only some of them left Rome and some, but obviously not all, came here.

Did the Romans do as the Anglo-Saxons? :)

Confession: I'm an appalling procrastinator. I have 2 weddings to write and a questionnaire and a magazine to design, but what have I done all afternoon when finishing my main work? Post here, browse there, send an email or two and light the stove. I need to light something under my own arse :cross:

Be careful not to eat too many beans or sprouts, Fia....! :D

The good thing about leaving everything to the last minute, is that you'll find it only takes a minute.... :D

(Dunno where I heard that. Sounds like Homer Simpson....)

I used to use the energy and adrenalin generated by last minute panics to stimulate my brain. The heart medicine I am on very, very much reduces the adrenalin these days and I find myself dithering most of the time.

Age helps with dithering as well; I mean it increases it.

The thing is, the older I get, the fewer the things that really need any dithering.

Don't wish for it; it'll come in its own time, before you want it probably.

Dithering somewhat on what cleverness to post...:)

(Dithering is such a great descriptive word, don't you think?)

I do agree with you, Marian. Dithering is a good word and I would say, furthermore, that I, err, am of the opinion that it is not a weakness, I mean not a human weakness, but err, if you know what I mean a means of being finally decisive about something or other.
