Our very own countdown thread!

Otherwise known as the Games Room, think of this as a subforum of the social club reserved just for sociable icebreaker games. Beware - they can be addictive!

Sorry, Moonbeam. I was away, looking for my English/Caveman dictionary. Having found it, I'm quite tempted to take Maria up on her proposition.

We'll just put in the missing numbers... 998,101... 998,100

Now that's Alan sorted out... no criticism after my foxes paws with the Word Association Game...

It's a fine morning here and I'm having visitors. Then tomorrow it's back to house sorting. But this time I suspect it will be putting up curtain rails and things like that. Positive stuff. I believe the kitchen is done and the new toilet now flushes.

There are three fundamental questions for anyone advocating Brexit:

1. What, precisely, are the significant and tangible benefits of leaving the EU?
2. What damage to the UK and its citizens is an acceptable price to pay for those benefits?
3. Which ruling of the ECJ is most persuasive of the need to leave its jurisdiction?

We had a fine day for the agricultural show today, up until a couple of hours ago, it's now lashing down.

Rain today but now it's fair. Mind you I popped the button on the heating when I got home. Not very warm here in paradise.

Glad you got at least some good weather for the show, Alan. Did you win any prizes?

I didn't put anything in this year Lewis, they have it about a month too early, it means you're having to dig up 4 or 5 tattie plants to get 3 or 4 good tatties, pull 7 or 8 carrots, to get 3 good enough to show, the cauliflowers are just coming, the cabbages are not ready yet, you know what I mean? It would be a shame to harvest stuff before it's ready "just to enter it in in the show"
I am looking forward though to the "Church flower show" here in Aith on 7th Sep, where I usually get 5 or 6 firsts 3 or 4 seconds, and a few thirds (without any divine help)

It's fine, but windy today. It rained for much of yesterday, which soaked most of the protesters at the Climate Camp protest at Kingsnorth Power station, which is a dog-walk away from my barge, along the river bank. We've had coppers by the hundreds for a week or so.

Fair here this morning. Coughing and spluttering at myself as I have another cold, the second this summer. Having a lazy day to help myself recover before possibly going back to the Project tomorrow to help with the packing of things for the great day - the removal on Thursday.

It's nearly at an end. Hoorah!

I got soaked yesterday doing first aid at an under-18 football competition [---][/---] there were dozens of teams and it lasted about 11 hours. That was some rain!
