Age is a strange thing. I was at our film and book group last night and we had The Dish which was about the first man on the Moon in 1969. I found myself admitting to the - rather younger - company that it happened on my 21st birthday. And here's me still young! So happy birthday, young fella!

Thanks folks, I am still recovering from stuffing myself for my (belated) BD lunch at a local Chinese "help yourself" restaurant! Cor, glad someone else was doing the driving . . .

OK, cereals, fruit, salad and veg with only water to drink for the next four days I think! Good thing I had my annual blood tests two days before (planned, heh, heh.)

Next notable milestone will be soixante-neuf, I just like numbers with interesting shapes, meanings or associations . . .

Yes, I am definitely awake now and its 443 and off for a pee and a go the bike and a shower and down town for the shopping and lunch in Sainsburys so, yes, I am awake.
