As this is the cheery thread, tomorrow my youngest and I are taking the long roads, ferry and more long roads to spend good time with my midwife eldest on a remote Hebridean cliff. We worked out we could get to my brother in the US in the same amount of time...

As my US family would say: go figure :D

Expecting Fia and her daughter (youngest) shortly. Been having fun making salads, Potato, Apple Cheese & Cashew, king prawn and interesting green salad. Tempted to start on the gin. It's been a good day.

Spoke with elder son who has also had a good day, getting on with work and making Amandine's tea. They're making wedding plans.

Quite excited about that.

1415: Battle of Agincourt

Another source of myth and legend but old Bill's version was good (especially the Branagh version for me)

In the year 1417 James I was on the throne, who ruled Scotland with a certain wisdom, banning football and chartering mills, including that at Perth.
