I assume it was pretty rude, but maybe not rude enough for him to remember after all this time :laughter: . Welcome back, Emma

("Hi & good to see you back," from me as well, Emma.)

Actually, not rude at all (unless one is so prudish as to consider the mere mention of underwear to be rude).

If you can get "Oi!", the rest will be easy. Think of gliding vowels.

A "gliding vowel" (e.g. "Oi!") is an example of a dipthong, giving us:
Dipthong Slip Thong

Henniken Penniken - An unstainable anti-gay structure?

(NB: the word is not "unsustainable"!!!)

I should at least have thought of "thong". Being my pedantic self, I have to say that a gliding vowel is a diphthong not a dipthong, which spoils your rhyme a bit (sorry!)

the new one - can you confirm that "homophobe" does not appear here?

Your spelling correction is noted, but I was taught to pronounce it as I spelled it, with the first 'h' being pronounced like the 'p' in 'bath' ; ergo rhyme intact. :D

No, I can't. Should be easy now.

Correct. (Chromophobes are microscopic structures (in cells) that do not readily take up the stains that are usually used for histological microscopy)

Your go. :D

Henni-ken Henniken - one of the Bard's plays lacks metaphorical richness but is nominally closely associated with Britain

Indeed so. Was wondering if the first word is 'regurgitation', been stuck ever since.

On the batphone, so expect typos...

Ooh, sorry, I forgot all about this. Nearly forgot what I had in mind.

Hennikenniken is not "regurgitation". It's a subset of geology. Think Georgius Agricola.
