White, only cos it's easier (brown bread needs to be grilled on each side or it's soggy) white you can just stick in the toaster.
Edit,
Just had a re-read, brown is better if you can be arsed to do it under the grill, white is easier but not as good.

I think soft. When I was in Crete the farmers came to market with a very soft, mild cheese which didn't keep. They apparently made it fresh each day.
A local farm here also makes a soft white cheese, which I find doesn't keep and is best eaten straight away.

eggs. Boiled or fried?

Too dry, much easier to water and mulch stuff, than to have to put in drainage.

Fish breaded or battered? (apologies to veggies)

The forum is soooo slow to load for me tonight, I am going to have to vacate.

Too cold; I can cope with that by turning on the heating and lighting the log stove.

Cut flowers, plants didn't evolve to be constrained in pots, and there is no such thing as a "house plant"
A neighbor of mine on looking round the garden exclaimed "you've got house plants growing in the garden" (caster oil plants) I had to explain to her that no plant ever evolved to be grown in a pot, indoors and with central heating.

I don't think one can say that anything evolved 'to be' anything; that presupposes some sort of intention.

- stay at home

Pot of tea and a mornings work before firing up the computer. Otherwise I'd never get anything done :)

The Stones (by a small margin).
I think their songs hold up a bit better over time. At least they didn't get as involved in psychedelic type music. Back then I think I liked the Beatles better.

Silent thinking. I'm not a morning person, and any kind of noise grates on my nerves until I get that first shot of caffeine.

Pet insurance: yes or no?
I prefer dogs as pets myself but having said that I am quite fond of my car insurance

Seriousley NO, there is so much small print and so many "get out clauses" for the insurers I think it would be a waste of money (we've had some hefty vet bills because of this strategy,) but I still wouldn't have it.
