A picture is better than 1.000 words
I tried to tell my boss that when I did contract research and the reports had to total at least one word per £ cost of contract. I did some lovely pictures as well!

Later: but, what you say about art affecting the way we think is also true, GB. Just spent my birthday book token on a book of Albrecht Durer's work and I think he was a consummate draughtsman and artist!

How about a picture as Satan was thought to be by the Orthodox Catholic Church.

It speaks more to Christian misogyny than anything I could say if the right mind is doing the seeing.
