Alcohol
A very tough poll but in the end I asked myself which would I choose if I was only allowed to drink one of them for the rest of life and I chose wine. I can't narrow it down any further though at the moment I'm partial to Californian, both red and white.
However, I also drink a great deal of whisky (and whiskey) and I confess that my favourite (not that I've tried them all) is Black Bush.
I generally dislike beer apart from certain smooth and fruity ales from the north of England. I love cider.
Girly cocktails and liquers are all fine in their place.
I'm drinking a lot of Pimm's at the moment, nostalgic for the kind of summers I remember in London when the sun actually made an occasional appearance.

I ticked wine, preferably red but I don't mind the odd glass of white, as long as it's not fizzy.
I like Australian and Californian, but tend to go for European brews to cut down on the "wine miles" is that a bit crazy?
I've just started to make my own, as I grow the fruit anyway, no wine miles at all there, how green is that?
I do like real ale as well, and whisky? Well.............. when in Rome and all that.

While I have drunk most things in my life, I now stick mainly to wine with the occasionally quality ale or lager.
The wine I go for is generally New World and red:white about 2:1.
If I had to choose one drink (other than tea) for my desert island it would be a selection of Australian Shiraz.
I do hope my GPs not a humanist!
