But some ditherers might not want to unite. So how about. . . .Ditherers of the world mill around in a loose bunch, unless you need to be somewhere else.?

Would any true ditherer "need to be somewhere else" I wonder, "need" sounds far too positive to me. Might they not "sort of, maybe, consider being somewhere else if nothing interesting comes up here any time soon. . ."?

Today, the Marie Stopes clinic brought Catholics and Protestants together on the streets of Belfast. Actually praying together!
The clinic is offering counselling, with the option of abortion up to nine weeks in cases of serious health risk, and the Christians are united in prayer outside the clinic.
Just imagine what abortion on demand could achieve!

I suppose if one of these believers has an abortion they can confess their sins and it is then all right.

^ Sadly, [some] women will be treated as chattels as long as we have "religion" And yes it is about "religion", not "culture".

I guess getting wiser is automatic. It's what you do with it that matters.

I always thought that the acquisition of knowledge is automatic with age, it is how you apply that knowledge sensibly and to profit that is called wisdom.

Of course, one could argue that wisdom decreases as senility increases.
I am not sure what wisdom is.

I think wisdom is learning from past experience and applying it to present events, as one possibility.
