1. What, precisely, are the significant and tangible benefits of leaving the EU?
2. What damage to the UK and its citizens is an acceptable price to pay for those benefits?
3. Which ruling of the ECJ is most persuasive of the need to leave its jurisdiction?

Not Major Tim but still on the space theme, SpaceX has completed a successful satelite launch and vehicle return!

I watched part of the SpaceX launch and retrieval live on the internet. Another success for founder Elon Musk. I've seen a couple of his electric Tesla cars around here lately.

Probably not. He gets tax breaks and government subsidies to keep his companies afloat. His major enterprises, including Tesla are losing money.

I suppose he gets government assistance because they are considered environment-friendly. So we taxpayers fund his businesses!

If giving him tax breaks advances research into cutting edge tech I feel it is more justified than filling already bulging private bank accounts.

He has given the Tesla patents away. Maybe he will do a Zuckerberg!

How about a New Year resolution, folks?

Instead of slagging each other off, why don't we agree that there are serious flaws in the tax systems of the world that let seriously rich people and corporations off scot free, whereas we cattle can't get off with a penny, and look for ways to remedy that?

In the US, the tax burden is increasingly being put on the middle class while the republican party wants to give further tax breaks to corporations and the wealthy. "Trickle-down" economics has never worked over here.
