There are three fundamental questions for anyone advocating Brexit:
1. What, precisely, are the significant and tangible benefits of leaving the EU?
2. What damage to the UK and its citizens is an acceptable price to pay for those benefits?
3. Which ruling of the ECJ is most persuasive of the need to leave its jurisdiction?

Alan,
It isn't difficult to calculate the age of the universe is 6000 years from the data in the Bible. However, it's very embarrassing, because it is contradictory to modern knowledge such as archaeology, astronomy, etc. Therefore, most Bible worshippers just sweep it under the rug and forget about it. I have debated this question with fundamentalists and here is the way some solve the problem: They say that the "six days of creation" weren't ordinary 24 hour days. They say the Hebrew word for day "yom" can mean any length of time. For instance when we say the "day of the dinosaur" it can mean millions of years! However, other Fundies say "hogwash! The word "yom" is used hundreds of times in the Bible and it always means 24 hours". Sometimes it's fun to watch how Fundies wriggle and squirm to escape from the quicksands of the Bible!
Here's another website, also run by the Christians themselves, claiming 6000 years for the age of the universe:

Dear Pahu, admit that the Bible is wrong when it says the universe is only 6000 years old!
The only proof of 6000 years as the age of the universe comes from the Bible. All of science, such as astronomy, geology, archaeology, etc. proves that that is wrong. Even 99% of the reasonable Cristians deny it. An educated adult who doesn't believe in Santa Claus would consider it too absurd! I advise you to learn some astronomy. They have proved that the universe is 13.77 billion years old.

Dear Alan,
Actually the 6000 years calculated by the Bible "begats" is overbloated. According to the Bible everyone in those days lived to around 900 years old which is rediculous. With all our modern medical achievements today, very few people can live to 100, and the ultimate age today is about 120. Saying that in those days men could live to 900, and Noah could repopulate the world when he was 600, is something that you can't even find in an ordinary fairy-tale!
If you squeeze out this moisture and recalculate the age of the universe, it would probably be less than 4000 years old!
