Any comment on Leave.EU's breaches of the law, coffee?
Alan Henness

There are three fundamental questions for anyone advocating Brexit:

1. What, precisely, are the significant and tangible benefits of leaving the EU?
2. What damage to the UK and its citizens is an acceptable price to pay for those benefits?
3. Which ruling of the ECJ is most persuasive of the need to leave its jurisdiction?

Well, it's really everyone's problem, coffee. His campaign broke the law: any idea what effect those breaches had on the vote?

BREXIT BOMBSHELL: UK talks could DESTABILISE Brussels if EU ignores crucial budget

BREXIT could bring the European Union crashing to its knees if the heavy negotiation schedule diverts the bloc’s attention from its own crucially important upcoming budget.

well, my advice to the EU would be: concentrate on the problems relating to the 27 countries which wish to continue to be members, and let the Brits sink or swim. Just cut off negotiations on Brexit and see how UK-dumb reacts. This will sure be a popcorn show. Sadly, I doubt that the ruly EU will be tempted to follow my advice

Sadly, I can't see what pearls of wisdom are in that article.

good for them for doing "quite a bit" of work to prepare, but this body does not cover Dover, the largest port, or Holyhead. If the Government funks leaving the CU, will the ports be able to claim compensation for wasted expenditure? This country is bananas, which I hope will not be affected in any Brexit shortage

Thanks, animist. That worked. Now, if only we knew what it was they had to be ready for... but it's good that someone has a crystal ball.

Strangely, you haven't mentioned those of the remoaners, Alan. Funny, that.....

And let's not forget the millions spent by the government recommending a Yes vote. As well as the constant drip, drip, drip of the EU, insisting that their flag be displayed on everything they decide to spend my money on. (But of course, that doesn't count).

:hilarity: Not to mention the propaganda and lies.

I agree that the £8 million on the Remain leaflet probably alienated some people - and the content was pretty poor, concentrating too much on Britain as a global power within Europe, and avoiding awkward topics like immigration
