:D

Should we view this time of year as the end of the lilies, honeysuckle, and all the other herbaceous perennials , or the start of a new year for the crocus, daffodils and all the other spring bulbs?

Being an optimist I go with the latter.

Fia
What about the vegetables?
Ah the vegetables, French beans are cropping still, tomatoes should be ripening by the end of the month (a fruit I know) cabbages, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, and neeps (swedes) all looking good, maincrop tatties (potatoes) to be lifted next week, our (large chest freezer) is almost full of veg and we will not have to buy any veg between now and next summer (and not even then)

On topic.
Do you grow any of your own stuff?
